A Year of Significant Milestones & Achievements

Louisville Water Company takes great responsibility and pride in delivering high-quality drinking water to nearly a million people every day. For the 19th year in a row, we did not have any water quality violations; just one of the significant achievements highlighted in our 2025 Annual Report.

“A resounding testament of Louisville Water’s financial stability came with the largest bonds sale in the Company’s history not long after we announced an expanded wholesale partnership to bring an additional water supply to Nelson County and Bardstown,” shared President & CEO Spencer Bruce.

In a year where we celebrated 165 years and our union, Local 1683, celebrated 75 years, we had several notable accomplishments.

  • Marked a milestone with the transition to monthly billing for all customers
  • Installed a residual line along River Road to carry byproducts between our two water treatment plants
  • Collaborated with Louisville MSD to streamline our Drops of Kindness℠ financial assistance program

The work Louisville Water is doing today to invest in our processes, our infrastructure, our employees, and our communities will ensure a strong future to keep Louisville Pure Tap® flowing for generations to come.
