It’s time to put your best foot (or paw) forward for the Louisville Pure Tap 5K®. The race moved up a few weeks this year into August, which is only fitting because it’s National Water Quality Month. It’s also National Dog Month and this race will once again help Friends of Metro Animal Services with proceeds from every dog registration benefiting FOMAS.
If you haven’t already signed up, step to it! The Pure Tap 5K is Saturday, August 23. It begins where the story of your drinking water begins, Louisville Water Tower and winds down the newly paved stretch of River Road past Cox and Thurman-Hutchins parks.
The race is the second in the 502 Mayorthon series. ICYMI- the Pure Tap 5K sold out to a record crowd last year, so register today!
You can sign up your furry friends in the process for $10 each. You must sign a waiver for them and keep them on a leash during the event. All dogs receive a special bandana to go along with your medal.
Count on Louisville Water to keep you hydrated with our high-quality Pure Tap! You’re welcomed to bring your own reusable bottle to fill, drink, repeat.
The last day to register online is August 22 or when we hit our maximum capacity of 750 participants.
